Daniel Dubois delivers devastating second-round stoppage of Fabio Wardley to retain WBO title

Daniel Dubois retained his WBO heavyweight title by stopping Fabio Wardley in the second round on Saturday night, with Wardley's trainer Ben Davison throwing in the towel at 2 minutes 21 seconds of round two. Dubois had knocked Wardley down as early as the 17-second mark of the first round with a left cross and right hand combination. This was the second time in five months that Dubois defeated Wardley, following their closely contested bout in May.
