Daniel Dubois dethrones Wardley in heavyweight thriller

Daniel Dubois defeated previously unbeaten Fabio Wardley in an 11-round heavyweight bout to claim the WBO world heavyweight championship title. Dubois, a former Ladbroke Grove-based boxer who trained at Dale Youth as an amateur, stopped Wardley and has now set his sights on a long WBO reign. The fight was promoted by Queensberry Promotions.
