Colombia secured their place in the FIFA World Cup knockout stage with a 1-0 victory over DR Congo, with Crystal Palace defender Daniel Muñoz scoring the decisive goal for the second consecutive game. Muñoz's shot deflected off Steve Kapuadi to wrongfoot DR Congo goalkeeper Lionel Mpasi, who had made a series of outstanding saves before the deflected goal.
