Darderi to face Nakashima in Montreal quarter-finals

Italian Luciano Darderi defeated Portugal's Nuno Borges 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 at the ATP Montreal Masters on Saturday, August 9, 2026, to advance to the quarter-finals. American Brandon Nakashima also reached the quarter-finals with a 7-6 (7/4), 5-7, 7-5 win over French opponent Rinderknech, who committed 22 unforced errors.
