David Coulthard tells Lewis Hamilton the one problem he can’t solve at Ferrari

Former F1 driver David Coulthard has stated that Lewis Hamilton lacks the time needed to transform Ferrari into a championship-winning team comparable to his former employer Mercedes. Hamilton joined Ferrari ahead of the 2025 season after 12 years at Mercedes, where he won six world championships, but has so far been outperformed by teammate Charles Leclerc in the intra-team battle. Ferrari have not won the drivers' title since 2007 or the constructors' championship since 2008, and Coulthard believes Hamilton's tenure will not be long enough to replicate the cultural overhaul he experienced at Mercedes.
