David Njoku, Chargers reportedly agree to 1-year, $8 million after veteran TE hit free agency for first time
Pro Bowl tight end David Njoku has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $8 million with the Los Angeles Chargers, ending his nine-year tenure with the Cleveland Browns. Njoku was originally drafted by Cleveland with the 29th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and will now serve as a key target for Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. The agreement marks the first time Njoku has hit free agency in his NFL career.
