Davies wins gold for Team Wales in Glasgow

Para-athlete Aled Davies, 35, won Wales' second gold medal at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow with victory in the men's F42-44/F61-64 discus event. His win followed gymnast Ruby Evans' earlier gold medal success for Team Wales at the same Games. Davies, a highly decorated Paralympian, has previously won three gold, one silver, and one bronze medals across four Paralympic Games.
