Olympic long jump gold medallist and world champion Tara Davis-Woodhall has been announced as an Ultimate Star for the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship, scheduled to take place in Budapest, Hungary, from 11-13 September. The 27-year-old American will compete at the event and also serve as its lead content creator, leveraging her social media presence to promote the championship. World Athletics President Sebastian Coe praised her ability to balance athletic excellence with authentic storytelling, noting that Budapest holds special significance for Davis-Woodhall, where she won a silver medal at the 2023 World Athletics Championships.
