Davis-Woodhall leaps world-leading 7.20m in Los Angeles

Tara Davis-Woodhall, the world and Olympic long jump champion, opened her 2026 outdoor season with a world-leading jump of 7.20m at the USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix on June 14, 2026. The mark added two centimetres to her previous personal best set indoors in February 2024 and improved her outdoor best of 7.16m, placing her equal 19th on the all-time world list. Monae' Nichols finished second with a wind-assisted 6.81m.
