DAZN reportedly ‘close’ to securing local rights for several NBA teams, will overtake MSG and YES streaming

London-based streaming platform DAZN is reportedly close to acquiring full exclusive local broadcast rights for five NBA teams for the upcoming season, according to a Sports Business Journal report by Austin Karp published July 29, 2026. The deal would see DAZN overtake existing streaming services MSG and YES in distributing local NBA broadcasts. The five teams were previously under contract with Main Street Sports Group.
