De Zerbi: Spurs don't need extra motivation in Chelsea derby

Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi has downplayed suggestions that Chelsea's extensive recruitment from his former club Brighton will provide extra motivation ahead of Saturday's clash at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have spent over £300 million signing 16 players and staff from Brighton since their 2022 takeover, including Moisés Caicedo for a British record £115 million and Marc Cucurella for £63 million. De Zerbi, who managed Brighton from September 2022, hinted at frustration over the transfers but insisted he remains equally motivated regardless of the opponent.
