Derbyshire police investigating alleged assault in connection with Carse arrest

Derbyshire police are investigating an alleged assault connected to the arrest of Durham fast bowler Brydon Carse last weekend. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning outside Molly Malone's Irish Tavern in Derby, where Carse was filmed in handcuffs alongside several Durham teammates, including former England captain Ben Stokes. As a result of the arrest, Carse was dropped from the England squad for the second Test against Pakistan.
