Derry: Chelsea debut a 'dream' despite injury

18-year-old Jesse Derry made his Chelsea debut in a 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest but was stretchered off in the first half after a head clash with Forest defender Zach Abbott and taken to hospital as a precaution. Derry, the son of former Leeds and Crystal Palace midfielder Shaun Derry, posted on Instagram thanking Chelsea medical staff and St. Mary's hospital, saying he looks forward to returning to playing 'very soon'. He was replaced on the pitch by Liam Delap after receiving applause from fans of both clubs.
