Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane has agreed to a four-year contract extension worth up to $68 million, including $32 million guaranteed, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz on May 14, 2026. The deal makes Achane the third-highest-paid running back in the league at $17 million per season, surpassing James Cook's four-year, $48 million extension with the Buffalo Bills. Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan had repeatedly stated this offseason that Achane was not available for trade.
