Diamond League champions sweep to Ultimate titles in Budapest

At the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championships in Budapest, 10 athletes completed a historic double by also having won the Wanda Diamond League title in Brussels the previous week. US sprinter Kenny Bednarek won both the 100m and 200m titles, while Brazilian hurdler Alison Dos Santos broke the 46-second barrier for the second time in three weeks after setting a world record in Zurich. Other double champions included world record holders Masai Russell in the women's 100m hurdles and Ja'Kobe Tharp in the 110m hurdles, as well as Swiss 800m star Audrey Werro.
