Switzerland's Audrey Werro won the women's 800m at the 2026 Diamond League Final in Brussels on 5 September, clocking 1:54.75 to break the meeting record for the fourth time this season. She edged out Femke Broeders-Bol of the Netherlands by just 0.06 seconds (1:54.81), securing her second Diamond League title. Broeders-Bol, who only switched to the 800m from the 400m hurdles this season, pushed Werro throughout the tightly contested race.
