Diamond League: Masai Russell nearly sets 100m hurdles world record in Xiamen

American hurdler Masai Russell came within two hundredths of a second of setting a new 100m hurdles world record at the Diamond League meeting in Xiamen. Russell's performance fell just short of the fastest time in history in the event. The race took place as part of the 2026 Diamond League series.
