Diamond League reaches climax with Ultimate places up for grabs

The Wanda Diamond League season concludes at the Allianz Memorial Van Damme in Brussels over two nights on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September 2026, with champions crowned across multiple disciplines. A victory in Brussels for athletes competing in World Athletics Ultimate Championship events will guarantee a spot in the inaugural Ultimate Championship, which carries a prize pot of US$10 million. Norwegian middle-distance star Jakob Ingebrigtsen, who has already secured a wildcard 1500m entry for the Budapest Ultimate, is among the notable competitors on day one.
