Dina Asher-Smith's historic feats at the European Athletics Championships

Dina Asher-Smith became the most decorated athlete in European Athletics Championships history at Birmingham 2026, which concluded on 16 August. The British sprinter won three medals at the championships, including gold in the mixed 4x100m relay and the women's 4x100m relay, bringing her total to 11 European Championships medals. She is now the first athlete to win eight European Athletics Championships gold medals and the first to reach 11 total medals at the competition.
