Diomande joins Madrid in deal worth up to €140m

Real Madrid have signed 19-year-old Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig on a seven-year contract, with the deal worth up to €140 million including bonuses. Diomande impressed last season with 12 goals and eight assists in the Bundesliga, and also stood out for Ivory Coast at the World Cup. If all bonuses are reached, the fee would surpass Real Madrid's previous record transfers for Jude Bellingham in 2023 and Eden Hazard in 2019.
