Novak Djokovic, the 24-time Grand Slam champion and three-time Cincinnati Open winner, was eliminated in the second round of the Cincinnati Open on Saturday, losing to world No. 50 Thiago Agustin Tirante of Argentina 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 in 2 hours and 44 minutes. The 39-year-old Djokovic, who had a 10-match winning streak at the tournament snapped, revealed he has an ongoing health condition that affects his performance in hot and humid weather. Djokovic, who last played at Wimbledon where he lost to Jannik Sinner in the semifinals, will next compete at the US Open beginning August 30 in New York.
