‘Do It For Gabe’: Reuben Ward wins gymnastic gold as Langton returns after nasty fall

Scotland gymnast Reuben Ward won the individual all-around gold medal in gymnastics at the Commonwealth Games held at the Glasgow International Arena. The event was emotionally charged as English gymnast Gabriel Langton, who had suffered a horrific fall off the high bars on Friday landing on his neck and spending 24 hours in hospital, returned on Sunday to cheer on his teammates. Despite his injuries and visible bruising, Langton's presence inspired those competing around him.
