Dobson looking to go one better in this summer’s European Athletics Championships

British 400m sprinter Charlie Dobson, 26, is targeting gold at the 2025 European Athletics Championships in Birmingham (August 10-16), having previously won silver at the 2024 European Championships in Rome. Dobson had a standout 2024 season, winning individual gold at the Diamond League final in Brussels and claiming Olympic bronze as part of Great Britain's 4x400m relay team at the Paris Games. The Birmingham event falls two weeks after the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, giving Dobson a major opportunity to compete on home soil.
