Dobson looking to go one better in this summer’s European Athletics Championships

Charlie Dobson, a 26-year-old sprinter from Colchester, is targeting gold at this summer's European Athletics Championships in Birmingham (August 10-16), having previously won silver at the 2024 European Championships in Rome. Dobson had a standout 2024 season, winning bronze at the Paris Olympics as part of GB's 4x400m relay team and claiming individual gold at the Diamond League final in Brussels. The Birmingham Euros come two weeks after the Commonwealth Games, giving Dobson a major opportunity to bounce back after a quieter 2025 so far.
