A new Amazon Prime documentary titled 'A Beautiful Obsession' reveals the behind-the-scenes turmoil at Manchester City during Pep Guardiola's worst run as manager, a period in autumn 2024 when City lost nine of 13 games and won just once. Guardiola clashed with then-captain Kyle Walker in the dressing room, with Walker accusing him of repeatedly singling him out in team meetings and claiming Guardiola did not want him as captain. Guardiola, who stepped down at the end of last season after winning 20 trophies in 10 years at the Etihad, also reportedly came close to tears while addressing his players during this difficult period.
