Dodgers acquire flamethrowing RHP Halvorsen from Rockies

The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired right-handed pitcher Seth Halvorsen from the Colorado Rockies on July 20, 2026, in exchange for outfielder Landyn Vidourek (the Dodgers' No. 25 prospect) and right-hander Nick Frasso. Halvorsen, 26, has been on the 15-day injured list since July 4 with right shoulder inflammation but began a rehab stint with Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday. Known as one of MLB's hardest throwers, Halvorsen posted a 4.74 ERA with 17 strikeouts and 15 walks over 19 innings for Colorado this season before his injury.
