Dolphins RB surprisingly retires after rookie minicamp

Miami Dolphins running back Le'Veon Moss, 23, has retired just days after participating in the team's rookie minicamp, with the Dolphins placing him on the reserve/retired list on May 12, 2026. Moss was one of 12 undrafted rookies the Dolphins signed following the 2026 NFL Draft, having gone undrafted despite a college career at Texas A&M where he rushed for 1,767 yards and 22 touchdowns in 32 games and earned All-SEC honors in 2024. A history of devastating injuries during his college career is believed to have contributed to his surprise retirement decision.
