Domenicali: F1 Still Only ‘At the Start’ of US Journey

Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali stated during the 2025 Miami Grand Prix weekend that the series is still 'at the beginning' of its US journey, despite significant growth that has seen the country expand from one to three annual grands prix since 2022, with Miami and Las Vegas joining Austin. Domenicali noted that US attendance has grown dramatically, from around 60,000 at a single race eight years ago to sell-out crowds across three events, while TV viewership has also surged. He acknowledged strong demand for additional US races but said the expansion must be managed carefully.
