Dorofeyev traded to Rangers by Golden Knights

The New York Rangers acquired forward Pavel Dorofeyev from the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday in exchange for three draft picks, including the No. 26 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, a third-round pick (No. 92) in 2026, and a conditional first-round pick in 2028. Dorofeyev, 25, set career highs this season with 37 goals, 27 assists, and 64 points in 82 games, adding 16 points in 22 playoff games as Vegas reached the Stanley Cup Final before losing to the Carolina Hurricanes. The Rangers, who finished last in the Eastern Conference and missed the playoffs for the second consecutive season, will look to Dorofeyev to bolster their offense going forward.
