Japanese golfer Kota Kaneko, 23, claimed his maiden DP World Tour title at the Austrian Alpine Open in Kitzbuhel on Sunday, his 12th appearance on tour. He shot a final-round 67 to finish at 18 under par, winning by two strokes over America's Davis Bryant and Portugal's Ricardo Gouveia. Andrew Johnston, who had been in contention, saw his challenge fade as Kaneko secured victory despite a late weather delay.
