DP World Tour to deny 2027 membership to LIV 2.0 golfers

The DP World Tour has announced it will deny 2027 membership to golfers who sign up for LIV Golf 2.0, with CEO Guy Kinnings confirming the decision on Monday. Unlike previous seasons where conditional status was granted to over 10 LIV golfers including Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton, no such exceptions will be made going forward, with a membership application deadline of November 16. The ruling has significant Ryder Cup implications, as players must hold DP World Tour membership to represent Europe at the 2026 event scheduled for September 17-19 at Adare Manor in Ireland.
