DP World Tour to deny LIV Golf players memberships for 2027 season - players must now 'make a choice'

The DP World Tour has announced it will deny membership to any player who participates in LIV Golf for the 2027 season, ending the conditional releases that previously allowed players to compete on both circuits. DP World Tour CEO Guy Kinnings stated that players must now 'make a choice' between the two tours. The decision has significant implications for Ryder Cup eligibility, as players must hold DP World Tour membership to qualify for the event.
