'Dream job' drives Potter for more triathlon success
Scottish triathlete Beth Potter, a two-time Olympic bronze medallist from the Paris Games, currently sits atop the world triathlon rankings despite managing a torn plantar fascia and stress response injury in her left foot sustained at the end of 2024. The Glasgow-born athlete, who switched from athletics to triathlon in 2017, is also second in the World Triathlon Championship Series standings. She is targeting improvement at upcoming WTCS events in Hamburg and London in July, with the London race marking the first elite-level triathlon in the UK capital since 2015.
