Dream's Smesko backs Reese, fed up with refs missing 'ridiculous' contact

Atlanta Dream head coach Karl Smesko publicly criticized WNBA referees for failing to call what he described as a 'ridiculous' amount of physical contact against his player Angel Reese during a Monday night game. Smesko's comments came amid the WNBA Finals, where the Dream are competing and Game 6 is scheduled to be a matinee at the Hawks' arena. The coach's outburst reflects growing frustration within the Dream organization over officiating decisions affecting Reese during the playoff run.
