Drone halts play in Arsenal Carabao Cup game at 4th-tier Fleetwood

Arsenal's Carabao Cup match at fourth-tier Fleetwood Town was halted for approximately eight minutes on Tuesday after referee Michael Salisbury spotted a drone above Highbury Stadium in the second minute of play. The stoppage lasted until the 10th minute, during which Salisbury consulted the stadium safety officer, both managers Mikel Arteta and Matt Lawlor, and some players before restarting once the drone disappeared. The match represents the furthest Fleetwood have progressed in the Carabao Cup in their 15-year football league history.
