Dubois vs Wardley 2: Londoner retains title with dominant second-round stoppage

WBO heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois retained his title by stopping Fabio Wardley in the second round of their rematch at the O2 Arena in London. The 27-year-old Dubois floored Wardley with a straight right within the opening 20 seconds of the fight, and although Wardley survived the first round, he was overwhelmed in the second and the contest was stopped. The victory further cements Dubois's status as Britain's leading heavyweight, with 13 of his 24 career wins now coming inside two rounds.
