Dubois, Wardley title rematch set for October

Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley have confirmed a WBO heavyweight title rematch scheduled for October 17 in London at the O2 Arena. The announcement was made on Saturday ahead of Moses Itauma's bout with Filip Hrgovic. In their first meeting in May, Dubois (23-3, 22 KOs) defeated Wardley (20-1-1, 19 KOs) via Round 11 stoppage to become a two-time heavyweight champion, despite being knocked down in rounds 1 and 3, with Wardley subsequently activating his rematch clause.
