Ducks Acquire Farrell from Montreal for Pastujov | Anaheim Ducks

The Anaheim Ducks have acquired center Sean Farrell, 24, from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for left wing Sasha Pastujov, as announced on July 27, 2026. Farrell has appeared in six career NHL games, scoring one goal, while spending the majority of his professional career with the AHL's Laval Rocket, where he posted a career-high 53 points (17 goals, 36 assists) in 72 games during the 2025-26 season. Originally a fourth-round pick (124th overall) by Montreal in the 2020 NHL Draft, Farrell was a Hobey Baker Award finalist and Ivy League/ECAC Player of the Year during his time at Harvard University.
