Ducks to play Golden Knights or Mammoth in 2nd round of Stanley Cup Playoffs

The Anaheim Ducks advanced to the Western Conference Second Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2017 after defeating the Edmonton Oilers 5-2 in Game 6 of their first-round series at Honda Center on Thursday. The Ducks will face either the Vegas Golden Knights or the Utah Mammoth, with Vegas leading their series 3-2 heading into Game 6 on Friday. As the No. 3 seed in the Pacific Division, Anaheim would have home-ice advantage against Utah but would open on the road against top-seeded Vegas.
