Dusty May leaving Michigan basketball to coach Dallas Mavericks: Report
Dusty May, 49, is leaving Michigan basketball after two seasons (64-13 record) to become head coach of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, according to ESPN on June 22. May's departure follows the Mavericks hiring Toronto Raptors executive Masai Ujiri as team president and parting ways with head coach Jason Kidd on May 19. Dallas went 26-56 last season but holds NBA Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg and the No. 9 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.
