Dyche praises Premier League's support for football on return to boyhood club

Former Everton and Burnley manager Sean Dyche returned to his boyhood club Kettering Town on 5 October 2026 to highlight the impact of the Premier League Stadium Fund, which has contributed at least £121,000 to the non-league club's Latimer Park ground. Dyche, who ranks 14th on the all-time Premier League managers list with 351 matches managed, has maintained a lifelong connection to Kettering, having attended his first match there at age seven and later watching his son Max play for the club on loan from Northampton Town in 2021. The visit was part of a broader initiative by the Premier League to showcase how its investment supports football at grassroots and non-league levels.
