East Sutherland Athletics Club runner finishes second at Loch Ness Marathon in Inverness

Shaun Cumming of East Sutherland Athletics Club finished second at the Loch Ness Marathon in Inverness with a personal best time of 2:21:10, finishing 54 seconds behind winner William Strangeway of Lincoln (2:20:16). In the women's race, Hazel Wyness of Metro Aberdeen won in 2:52:04, while Olympic athlete Megan Keith broke the women's River Ness 10k course record by 96 seconds, finishing in 31:24 to claim her third title. Logan Rees of Fife Athletics Club also equalled his course record of 28:52 to win the men's 10k for the second time.
