EBU and European Athletics extend landmark partnership to 2031

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and European Athletics have agreed a rights extension partnership through to the end of 2031, ensuring free-to-air coverage of Europe's top athletics events. The partnership between the two organisations originally dates back to 1981, making this latest renewal an extension of one of international sport's longest-running broadcasting agreements. The deal secures continued public access to premier European athletics competitions across the continent.
