Edwards scores 45 points as Timberwolves spoil Giannis's Heat debut

Anthony Edwards scored 45 points to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 131-106 victory over the Miami Heat on Wednesday, spoiling Giannis Antetokounmpo's debut with his new team. In a separate game, Anthony Davis made his Washington Wizards debut nine months after being acquired from Dallas, helping the Wizards defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 128-118. Antetokounmpo, a two-time NBA MVP, had recently joined the Heat in what was considered a blockbuster move.
