EFL scraps three-window transfer ban for late payments

English Football League clubs have voted to scrap the previous three-window transfer ban imposed on clubs that fail to meet financial obligations. Under the old rules, clubs that fell more than 30 days behind on payments were banned for three transfer windows from making any incoming fee-based transfers or loans. The EFL has now reduced the length of these 'fee restriction' windows as part of the new policy change.
