Ehlers misses Game 4 of East 1st Round for Hurricanes with lower-body injury
Nikolaj Ehlers missed Game 4 of the NHL Eastern Conference First Round on Saturday due to a lower-body injury, as the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Ottawa Senators 4-2 at Canadian Tire Centre to complete a series sweep. Ehlers, who contributed one assist in the first three games of the series, was replaced by Deslauriers. The Danish forward had a strong regular season with 71 points in 82 games and signed a six-year, $51 million contract with Carolina on July 3, 2025.
