Eight climbs and a sprint as full Welsh Tour de France route revealed

The full route of the 2027 Tour de France's Welsh stage has been revealed, running from Welshpool to Cardiff and featuring eight categorised climbs and an intermediate sprint on the A483 near Llandrindod Wells. It will mark the first time the Tour de France has visited Wales, scheduled for July 2027. Visit Wales has designated 2027 as the Year of Cycling, supported by a £4.5 million Croeso i Feicwyr Fund to improve cycling infrastructure across the country.
