Eilish McColgan returns to the roads at the Big Half

Eilish McColgan, the British half-marathon record-holder, will return to competition at the Big Half on September 6, marking her first race in five months. Her last outing was at the April London Marathon, where she finished seventh in 2:24:51 despite suffering a severe toe injury that caused significant bleeding. It was later revealed she had competed with an undetected foot fracture, which required specialist medical attention following the race.
