Emily Scarratt permanently joins Red Roses coaching team

Emily Scarratt, England's record points-scorer and 119-cap veteran, has permanently joined the Red Roses coaching team after initially serving as interim lead attack and backs coach during the 2025 Women's Six Nations. The 36-year-old, who is the only English player — male or female — to have appeared at five Rugby World Cups, joined John Mitchell's setup on a temporary basis before England clinched their eighth successive Women's Six Nations title in May. Scarratt has now committed her long-term future to the national coaching staff following that tournament success.
