Emma Raducanu loses Queen's final to Donna Vekic despite battling display by British No 1

Emma Raducanu was defeated by Croatia's Donna Vekic 6-0 7-6 (8-6) in the women's singles final at Queen's Club. Raducanu, the British No 1, was overpowered in the opening set but fought back to take a double-break lead in the second before Vekic reasserted control. The result denied Raducanu the chance to become the first British female winner at Queen's since Ann Jones in 1969.
